Morning Message for November 8th, 2021

Good morning my brave friends. Today is Monday November 8th, 2021. There is a special day this week. Do you know what it is called? I will give you some hints. It happens every year on November 11th. It is a day to remember all of the soldiers, nurses, doctors and others who fought in the war so that we may enjoy peace and freedom. We wear a poppy to show that we remember. I have some activities on the Choice Board to do for this special day.

Monday Morning Message

Good morning my wonderful friends! Today is Monday June 8th, 2020. This is the last week of Home Learning for you. I know that you will continue to read and enjoy your books over the summer. It is fun to get cozy on a rainy day with some picture books, or read outside, and of course, when you tuck into your bed at night. Books are like going on an adventure even though you are staying in the same place!

 

 

I will be in touch this week with more details about report card pick up.

Friday Morning Message

Good morning my friendly friends! Today is Friday June 5th, 2020. It is Bella's birthday today! She is 10 years old. They say that for every year of a dog's life it is the same as 7 human years. How old would Bella be in human years? This is a tricky question. This will help you: it is 7 groups of 10. Make 7 groups of 10 objects and then you can count by 10's.

 

Today is the last day of the Virtual Olympics. I hope you had fun doing it!

Tuesday Morning Message

Good morning my favorite friends! Today is Tuesday June 2nd, 2020. I am at school today and it is very very lonely here without you! I am working on the choice board for next week, cleaning up the classroom, writing report cards and getting ready for next year.

This month we have another birthday! It will be Carter's birthday on June 30th. Yay! How many more days until his birthday?

Monday Morning Message

Good morning my sweet and kind friends! Today is Monday June 1st, 2020. It is the beginning of a new month today! A new season begins on the 21st of this month, too. Do you know which season it is? It begins with the sound /s/ and has 6 letters.

If you guessed summer, you are right! Summer begins on June 21st. Which season is your favorite? Is it fall, winter, spring or summer? Why is it your favorite season? I think my favorite season is fall. I love the cooler weather and the beautiful colorful leaves in the fall.

There are only two weeks left of Home Learning. You must continue to enjoy and read your books all summer long.

Monday Morning Message

Good morning my great friends! Today is Monday May 25th, 2020. The Virtual Olympics is starting today! I hope you signed up! The weather this week is going to be fantastic so you will be able to do all the events outside. Yay!

We have two birthdays coming up on May 30th. How many more days is that? Do you know whose birthday it is?

Tuesday Morning Message

Good morning my sweet friends. Today is Tuesday May 19th, 2020. I hope that you had a nice long weekend. What kinds of things did you do over the weekend? The weather was beautiful so I bet you played outside most of the days. I cleaned and moved my trailer to the campground this weekend. 

Tell your parents that there is a good online session with John Fletcher. I took part in the one for teachers and it was really good. I have included the information in documents and it is also in the news section.

Friday morning message

Good morning my super duper friends! Today is Friday May 15th, 2020. It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day! I was up early to watch the fishing boats go out to set their lobster traps. Yesterday I had to help Keith bait the traps. I had to put four or five fish in each trap. It was stinky and messy!

It is a long weekend this weekend. That means no school on Monday! What will you do this weekend? I am going to clean and get my trailer ready for camping.

Monday Morning Message

Good morning my lovely friends! Today is Monday May 11th, 2020. I hope you all had a great weekend and that you spoiled your moms! The weather wasn't that great this weekend. Very windy, cold and snowy! Yuck! It is time for some nice warm weather so that we can get outside and bike and play. 

Did you see the SnowBirds fly by on Thursday? Wasn't that cool!?! I took a really good video of them flying over my house.

Good morning my fantastic friends! Today is Friday May 8th, 2020. We have two birthdays at the end of the month. Jansen's birthday and Seth's birthday. Their birthday is on the 30th. Today is the 8th. How many more days until their birthday? You can use a calendar to help.

Today is also Fun Friday! What will you do for fun today? I am going to go for a walk on the beach with Bella and Jillian.

Tuesday Morning Message

Good morning my snowy friends! Today is Tuesday May5th, 2020. I woke up to snow on the ground! As much as I love the snow it is time for the warmer weather. I hope you all had a chance to look through your bag of school stuff. We have put in paper, construction paper, markers, scissors, pencils and more for you to write, draw and create with. We also put in a white board with some markers so you can play SOS, write on, solve math problems, and draw.

Good morning my awesome friends! Today is Wedndesday April 29th, 2020. I want you all to know that I am very proud of you. I know that it is not easy doing school work at home with your parents.
